Travel to Warm Springs Ranch in Missouri, the official breeding facility of the Budweiser Clydesdales! On 300+ acres, the property features a mare/stallion and foaling barn, veterinary lab, and 10 pastures. More than 70 Clydesdales call the ranch home. On the walking tour, you will interact with the horses’ handlers and see the legendary horses. You can also sample Budweiser beer as you learn more about these majestic horses.
On day two, explore historic Jamesport the largest Amish settlement in Missouri. Observe how the Amish live without modern conveniences. In workshops, see fine handcrafted furniture being made and handmade quilts being sewn in Amish shops.
We will make a stop at H & M Country Store and quilt shop and have lunch at the Gingerich Dutch Pantry Restaurant. You’ll have free time to explore the downtown area. (Note: many stores do not accept credit cards – cash or check only.)
In Rocheport, MO (about half way between St. Louis and Kansas City), sample midwest wines at Les Bourgeois Vineyards.
