Traveling to our destination, we make a stop in Springfield, Illinois, to visit the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum. Overnight in South Bend.
Day 2
Experience masterpieces of art and nature that will delight your senses at Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Overnight in Mackinac City.
Day 3
Mackinac Island – This island is a living Victorian village dedicated to preserving the Victorian way of life. Take a horse & buggy guided tour of the island which allows no cars. Enjoy the luxury & grandeur of the beautiful and historic village. At the Grand Hotel, dine on a decadent buffet lunch on us, then explore the island on your own. Overnight in Mackinac City.
Day 4
Holland Tulip Festival – Experience the beauty of more than 5 million tulips as Holland celebrates their Dutch heritage. Enjoy the parade, street scrubbing, and free time exploring. Overnight in South Bend, Indiana.
Day 5
Before we return, enjoy a tour of Notre Dame University campus in Indiana. Immerse yourself in the Peoria Riverfront Museum—a world-class facility on Peoria’s beautiful downtown riverfront.
