Built to honor Sergeant Floyd, a member of the Lewis & Clark expedition, his monument overlooks the Missouri River.

Enjoy free time at Arnolds Amusement Park in Arnolds Park,

Take a cruise around the lake on the Steamer Queen II, built in 1986 and designated the Flagship of the Iowa’s Navy.

Visit the Shrine of the Grotto of the Redemption (also called a miracle in stone, a compilation of nine grottoes depicting scenes of the life of Jesus. Built of precious stones and minerals by Father Paul Matthias Dobberstein, the Grotto tells the story of man’s fall and his redemption by Christ. The museum displays precious and semiprecious stones from around the world.

Le Mars, Iowa, deems itself as the Ice Cream Capital of the World. The classic Wells Visitor Center’s Ice Cream Parlor is sure to entice those with a sweet tooth!

Our last stop is in Sioux City at the Jolly Time Museum and Koated Kernels Shoppe. It showcases 100 years of history of Jolly Time Pop Corn with vintage packaging and personal artifacts from the company’s founding family.
