HIGHLIGHTS
Day 1     Overnight in Elkhart, IN
Get to know your fellow travelers as we head to Indiana for a four-night stay. View ships and barges as they travel on the Mississippi at the Illinois Waterway Visitor Center.

Day 2     Overnight in Elkhart, IN
Free time today: Head to Shipshewana, location of the Midwest’s largest outdoor flea market on 40 acres with nearly 700 booths. In Middlebury, explore Das Dutch Essenhause Village Shops originally homestead buildings featuring handcrafted Amish furniture, and other unique items.

Day 3     Overnight in Elkhart, IN
Today is a full day of touring and is Brown Bag Day. Tour in and around Shipshewana and fill your bags with special goodies along the way. Visit an Amish Home to learn about their lifestyle, and then it’s on to Silver Star Leather. Watch as Amish craftsmen create the wares you may purchase, then experience a Thrasher Meal at a private Amish home.

Day 4     Overnight in Elkhart, IN
Today visit lovely Quilt Gardens – where flowers are transformed into intricate quilt patterned beds of color. We’ll also visit Linton’s Enchanted Gardens, Indiana’s largest home and garden center, and we will see quilt paintings displayed on buildings. Dinner will be followed by a Quentin Flagg Oldies Concert.

Day 5     Homeward Bound!
Visit Blackberry Farm in Aurora, IL, where pioneer life is recreated. Ride around Lake Gregory – across the grounds from the farm – on a replica steam engine train. The ride home is a perfect time to share
memories of this tour with your new friends!
